About Plant a Seed
What is "plant a seed" all about?
"Planting a seed card" is an easy and interactive way to create awareness for blockchain projects you support. It is quite simple. Print a seed card with the project website and a QR code that point to the project website. Then place it at public places and click a picture. After that, tweet out that you placed a seed card, referencing the town, state/province and country, with a picture to prove that you did so. Link that tweet in the location marker, within the map. What is a seed card?
A seed card is a printed card that you print out. A seed card should have QR code linking the blockchain/cryptocurrency project you support and their website on one side and on the other side of the care you can have a set of boxes that one can write their 12 to 24 crypto wallet recovery seed phrase and keep in a safe place. Word of caution: DO NOT WRITE your own wallet recovery seed phrase and leave in public places. It is meant for the finder to find an unfilled card, research the project and set up their own wallet and write their private seed phrase and keep in a safe place. This purely for awarness at the grassroots level.
Should I ask permission from the place/venue you place the card?
Yes, it's an ethical thing to do and you should ask permission prior to place the card. Use your judgement.
